INGREDIENTS:

  1. Fresh shredded coconut - 1 cup
  2. Green chili - 2
  3. Mint leaf - 7
  4. Roasted gram - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Asafoetida powder - a pinch
  6. Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Curry leaf - 6
  8. Oil - as needed
  9. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Grind coconut, green chili, salt, mint leaves, roasted gram into a thick paste by adding little water as possible.
  2. In a pan heat oil. add mustards, asafoetida, curry leaves. Once the mustard seeds stop splattering add the chutney. Mix well and server. NOTE: don't cook too long just add coconut and remove from heat (stove)
