Sauteed coconut chutney recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Shredded coconut - 1 cup
  2. Tomato - 1
  3. Onion (small) - 1
  4. Curry leaf - little
  5. Coriander leaf - little
  6. Tamarind - little
  7. Oil - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Heat 1 teaspoon (tsp.) of oil and sauté coconut, tomato, onion, curry leaves, coriander leaves, tamarind. Once cooled down grind these into a fine thick paste by adding salt as needed.
  2. Heat rest of the oil in a pan. Now add the ground chutney and sauté for 2 minutes and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Goes well with dosai, idli.
