INGREDIENTS:

  1. Blanched peanut - 100 grams
  2. Dry chili - 2
  3. Ginger - small piece
  4. Tamarind - small gooseberry size
  5. Mustard seeds, split black gram, curry leaves - little for tempering.
  6. Oil - as needed
  7. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Dry roast the dry chilies and keep them aside.
  2. Dry roast in the same pan peanuts. NOTE: do not burn them.
  3. In a mixer add peanut, dry chilies, ginger, tamarind, salt and grind them to thick paste as you do for chutney.
  4. In a pan heat oil. add mustard seeds, split black gram, curry leaves. Once the mustard seeds stops splattering add to the chutney. Mix well and serve.
