Green chili thokku recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Green chili - 15
  2. Tamarind - 1 small pebble size
  3. Asafoetida powder - a pinch
  4. Salt - to taste
  5. Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Oil - 3 tablespoon (tsp.)

PREPARATION:

  1. Grind green chili, tamarind, salt to taste, asafoetida powder into a find thick paste by adding little water as possible.
  2. Heat oil in a pan; now add mustard seeds once it stop splattering add the ground paste and cook until oil separates and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Goes well with rice, idli, dosai.
