Vegetable chapathi (chapati) recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Whole wheat flour - 4 cup
  2. All purpose flour or Maida flour - 2 cup
  3. Shredded carrot - 1 cup
  4. Cooked potatoes - 1 cup
  5. Onion - 1
  6. Garlic paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
  7. Ginger paste - 1 teaspoon (tsp)
  8. Curry leaves (optional) - 5
  9. Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup
  10. Salt - to taste
  11. Ghee - 1 table spoon
  12. Oil - to cook
  13. Hot chili powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp)

PREPARATION:

  1. Cut onion, coriander leaves, curry leaves into fine pieces. Mash the cooked potatoes.
  2. In a bowl mix all the ingredients except oil for cooking to make a dough.
  3. Now make small 2 inch balls and flatten them.
  4. Heat a skillet add oil as needed. Now cook the flatten dough until it is cooked both side and serve.
