Masala bread toast recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Bread slices - 6
  2. Egg - 1
  3. Boiled milk - 150 milliliter
  4. Ginger garlic paste - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Dry ginger - a pinch
  9. Carom seeds (omam)- 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Garam masala powder - a pinch
  11. Sugar (optional) - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  12. Finely chopped coriander leaf - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  13. Unsalted butter or ghee - as needed for toasting
  14. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Mix chili powder, turmeric powder, cardamom powder, dry ginger powder, garam masala powder. Now add water and make a thick paste.
  2. Break the egg and add to the paste and beat well.
  3. Now add milk, coriander leaves, sugar, carom seeds, salt as needed to beaten egg and mix well.
  4. Melt  butter or ghee in a flat pan or skillet.
  5. Dip the bread slice in the milk and egg mixture so it coated well both side. Place it on the skillet or pan. Cook both sides to golden brown  and serve hot.
  6. In same way Toast the rest of the bread slices.

NOTES:

  1. Serve for breakfast or evening snack.
