Flattened rice vadai recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Flattened rice - 1/4 kilogram
  2. Finely chopped ginger - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  3. Finely chopped green chili - 1
  4. Finely chopped curry leaf - 6
  5. Oil - for deep fry.
  6. Salt - as needed.

PREPARATION:

  1. Soak flattened rice for 20 minutes. Drain water and grind into a vadai (coarse) dough. NOTE: add less water as possible and grind to a coarse.
  2. Now add the chopped ginger, chopped green chili, curry leaf, salt and mix well.
  3. Now make vadai with this dough.
    1. Heat the oil in the fryer or pan.
    2. Now take small amount of mixed dough ( a size of lemon), flatten it make a hole in center and deep fry them and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Easy to make and taste yummy.
