INGREDIENTS:

  1. Potato - 2
  2. Rice flour - 4 cup
  3. Roasted gram powder - 1/2 cup
  4. Mint leaf - 1/2 cup
  5. Ginger - 2 inch
  6. Green chili - 5
  7. Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Caraway seed (omum) - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Oil - to fry

PREPARATION:

  1. Boil the potato and mash them.
  2. Grind ginger, green chili, mint leaf, lemon juice in to a thick paste.
  3. Mix potato, ginger paste, rice flour, roasted gram powder, caraway seed, salt to taste into a dough consistent to puri dough.
  4. Make small out of the dough and flatten them into think round sheet. Poke these with small holes.
  5. Heat the oil to 350 degree Fahrenheit and deep fry them until they turn golden brown and serve.
