INGREDIENTS:

  1. Idli batter - 2 cup
  2. Split black gram - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  3. Split bengal gram - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  4. Green chili - 2
  5. Onion - 2
  6. Ghee - as needed.
  7. Oil - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Finely chop onion and green chili.
  2. In a pan heat oil, add black, bengal gram and cook until they turn light brown.
  3. Now add the green chili, onion and cook until it turns golden brown.
  4. Now add this to the idli batter and mix well.
  5. -- Making Paniyaram--
    1. Heat the kuzhi paniyaram pan with oil in the Kuzhi.
    2. Add ghee to each Kuzhi. Then Pour the batter into the Kuzhi.
    3. Cook each side (flip when done one side) until it turns golden brown and serve.
