INGREDIENTS:

  1. Thickly Sliced Ivy gourd - 250
  2. Finger millet (Ragi) powder - 2 cup
  3. Coarsely powdered roasted pea nut - 1 cup
  4. Coarsely powdered roasted gram - 1 cup
  5. Cumin seed - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Dry chili - 4
  7. Finely chopped curry leaf - 4
  8. Finely chopped onion - 4
  9. Oil - for deep fry
  10. Salt - to taste.

PREPARATION:

  1. Grind dry chili and cumin seeds.
  2. Mix all the ingredients (except onion) to a dough consistent to chapatti dough.
  3. Heat oil and deep fry them in batches by dropping small pieces of dough in the oil.

NOTES:

  1. Goes well with coffee or tea.
