Vegetable cutlet recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Potato - 250 grams
  2. Maida flour - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  3. Carrot - 100 grams
  4. Green pea - 50 grams
  5. Green beans - 50 grams
  6. Chopped Onion - 50 grams
  7. Green chili - 3
  8. Gram masala powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Bread crumbs or porai crumbs or non-sweet rusk crumbs - 1 packet
  11. Oil - to fry
  12. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Pressure cook all the vegetables (potato, carrot, green pea, green beans, green chili) in pressure cooker.
  2. Squeeze all the liquid from the cooked vegetables and mash them well.
  3. Now add chopped onion, garam masala, black pepper powder, salt. Mix them well until the dough become tight.
  4. Make equal size balls from this dough.
  5. In a bowl dissolve the maida flour to a thin batter. Now coat the all the balls with break crumbs by first dipping in the maida flour batter then rolling in bread crumbs. Now flatten all the balls by pressing by hand.
  6. Heat oil in a pan. Now deep fry all the cutlets in batches to golden brown and serve with ketchup.

NOTES:

  1. For good result make sure all the liquid is squeezed from the cooked vegetables.
