Maravalli kilangu chips recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Maravalli Kilangu or Tapioca - 1 kilogram
  2. Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  3. Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Oil - for deep frying ( 1/2 liter)
  5. Salt - to taste.

PREPARATION:

  1. Skin and de-vain the Maravalli Kilangu. And thinly slices them for chips. 1/8 of an inch thickness.
  2. Add turmeric powder, chili powder, salt to taste to the sliced Maravalli Kilangu. Mix well and marinate for 20 minutes.
  3. Heat the oil in a deep pan or fryer. Deep fry them in batches until they turn crispy and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Good to go with rice.
