Fried potato poppers recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Cooked mashed potato - 2 cup
  2. Maida flour - 1/4 cup
  3. Finely chopped coriander leaves - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  4. Finely chopped mint leaves - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  5. Finely chopped garlic - 2 clove
  6. Finely chopped green chili - 2
  7. Crushed red chili - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Sugar - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Baking powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Lemon juice - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  11. Oil - for deep fry
  12. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Except oil mix all the other ingredients into a like chapatti dough. Now roll this into a thick(1 or 1 1/2 inch)  long roll . Now cut the roll into equal size and roll them into balls.
  2. Deep fry these balls until they turn golden brown and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Fry them in batches for best result and to maintain the temperature of oil for frying.
