Pav bhaji recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Pav bun - 5
  2. Potato - 2
  3. Finely chopped tomato - 3
  4. Finely chopped onion - 2
  5. Lemon - 1
  6. Chili powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Garam masala powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Unsalted Butter - 5 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Salt - to taste.

PREPARATION:

  1. Boil potato and mash them well.
  2. In a pan melt butter add the onion and cook until they turn golden brown.
  3. Now add the tomato and cook until butter separates.
  4. Now add mashed potato, chili powder, gram masala powder, salt to taste and water as needed.
  5. Cook and reduce until butter separates and keep it aside.
  6. Toast the pav bun with butter, place the cooked potato in between the bun, squeeze lemon juice as needed and serve.
