INGREDIENTS:

  1. Boiled potato - 2
  2. Shredded coconut - 1
  3. Chopped green bean - 6 or 7
  4. Chopped onion - 1
  5. Chopped tomato - 2
  6. Chopped green chili - 1 or as needed
  7. Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Turmeric powder - a pinch
  9. Mango powder - 1/2 teaspoon or one lemon
  10. Mustard seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  11. Cumin seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  12. Sugar - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  13. Pav bhaji masala - as needed
  14. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Boil and cook green bean and carrot. Mash the boiled potato.
  2. In a pan heat oil. Now add mustard seeds, cumin seeds. Once the mustard seeds stop splattering. Now add onion and sauté until they become translucent.
  3. Now add the tomato and sauté until they become mushy.
  4. Now add the green chili and sauté until they change color.
  5. Now add cooked green beans, carrot, mashed potato and mix well.
  6. Now add little chili powder, turmeric powder, salt, mango powder or lemon juice and sauté. NOTE: you can add a pinch of garam masala powder.
  7. Continue cooking masala until all things come together and right masala consistency is reached.
  8. Serve this with Pav buns.
