Shrimp rice recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Shrimp - 200 grams
  2. Basmati rice - 1/2 kilogram
  3. Cardamom powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Chopped carrot - 1
  5. Chopped potato - 1
  6. Chopped onion - 1
  7. Green peas - 100 grams
  8. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Broken cashews - 5
  10. Raisins - 5
  11. Unsalted Butter - 3 teaspoon (tsp.)
  12. Coriander leaves - handful
  13. Salt - to taste.

PREPARATION:

  1. Cook basmati rice. Mix with cardamom powder with cooked rice and keep it aside.
  2. Add turmeric powder, salt as needed to the shrimp and marinate them.
  3. Meat butter in a pan. Add shrimp and fry them and keep it aside.
  4. Now in the same pan add carrot, potato, onion , green peas. Fry them and keep it aside.
  5. Melt more butter add cashew, raisin. Cook until the raisin plump up and keep it aide.
  6. Now add all the fried item (shrimp, vegetables, cashew ..) to the rice, mix well.
  7. Garnish shrimp rice with coriander leaves and serve.
