Shrimp curry recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Small shrimp - 500 grams
  2. Shallots or small onion - 10
  3. Tomatoes - 3
  4. Curry leaves (optional) - 5
  5. Coriander leaves - 15
  6. Turmeric powder - 1/4 table spoon
  7. Hot chili powder - 1 table spoon
  8. Coriander powder - 2 table spoon
  9. Garlic - 6 cloves
  10. Oil - 3 table spoon
  11. Salt - to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Cut shallot or small onion and tomatoes into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add shallots, tomatoes, garlic, curry leaves and cook until the onion turns golden brown.
  3. Now add coriander leaves, salt. Cook for 1-2 min.
  4. Now add Turmeric powder, Hot Chili powder, coriander powder and cook until oil separates.
  5. Now add the shrimp add little water, simmer and cook until its done.
