Mutton brain fry recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Mutton (Goat or Lamb) brain - 1
  2. Onion - 1
  3. Hot chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
  4. Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp)
  5. Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
  6. Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp)
  7. Cumin seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp)
  8. Fennel seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp)
  9. Curry leaves (optional) - 4
  10. Salt - for taste
  11. Oil – 2  tablespoon (tbsp)

PREPARATION:

  1. Wash the mutton brain and cut into 1 inch size. Cut the onions into small pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seed, cumin seed, fennel seed , curry leaves until the mustard spatter.
  3. Now add the cut onions and cook until golden brown.
  4. Now add the hot chili powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder and cook for 1-2 min
  5. Now add the brain, salt and cook until its done.
