Ground meat stuffed brinjal recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Big brinjal (egg plant) - 500 grams
  2. Ground Mutton (goat or lamb) - 250 grams
  3. Chopped Onion - 2
  4. Egg - 1
  5. Chopped Green chili - 4
  6. Chopped Ginger - 1 piece
  7. Chopped Garlic - 8 cloves
  8. Chopped coriander leaf - from 1 bunch
  9. Small tomato - 2
  10. Bread crumb - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  11. Shredded cheese - 1/2 cup
  12. Unsalted butter - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  13. Dalda (Vanaspati) - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  14. Lemon juice - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  15. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Cut all the brinjal in to two vertical parts. Heat a pan with water, turmeric powder, salt. Now cook the brinjal pieces until they are half cooked.
  2. Cook the ground mutton with water as needed, salt and once cooked drain all the water for the mutton and keep it aside.
  3. In a pan heat oil or dalda. Now add green chili, ginger, garlic, onion until they are sautéed. Now add the cooked mutton and sauté until the raw smell is gone.
  4. Now break the egg, beat well and add to the mutton.
  5. Now add bread crumb, lemon juice, coriander leaves and mix well.
  6. Now remove the meat from the brinjal pieces and add the cooked mutton, sprinkle little bread crumb, shredded cheese, little butter.
  7. Bake this in preheated oven in medium heat to golden brown and serve.
