Goat or lamb lung kuzhambu recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Goat or lamb lung - 1
  2. Thinly sliced onion - 2
  3. Chopped tomato - 2
  4. Slit green chili - 4
  5. Ginger and garlic paste - 1 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Turmeric powder - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Curry masala powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Chili powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Shredded coconut - 1/4 cup
  10. Coriander leaf - 15
  11. Mint leaf - 10
  12. Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
  13. Clove - 1
  14. Cardamom - 1
  15. Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  16. Salt - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)

PREPARATION:

  1. Cut lung into 1 inch size.
  2. Grind coconut into a fine paste by adding little water as possible.
  3. In a pressure cooker; add onion, cinnamon stick, clove, cardamom and sauté for a minute.
  4. Now add ginger garlic paste, chili powder, turmeric powder, tomato, green chili and sauté for 2 minutes.
  5. Now add curry masala powder, coriander leaves, salt to taste and sauté for few minutes.
  6. Now lung, add 2 cup of water, and pressure cook for 3 whistle. Remove from heat and keep it aside until pressure is released.
  7. Remove the lid and place the pressure cooker on the stove. Now add coconut paste and bring to boil.
  8. After cooking for 10 minutes, garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
