Goat or lamb trotters soup recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Goat or lamb trotters (feet) - 2
  2. Onion - 2
  3. Tomato - 2
  4. Green chili - 2
  5. Pigeon pea - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  6. Fennel seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Cumin seed - 1/2 teaspoon(tsp.)
  8. Cloves - 5
  9. Cinnamon stick - 1 inch
  10. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  11. Oil - tablespoon (tbsp.)
  12. Salt - to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Clean and cut the goat or lamb feet.
  2. Cut onion, tomato, green chili into fine pieces.
  3. Add 4 to 5 cups of water to the goat and lamb feet, onion, tomatoes, green chili, pigeon pea. Pressure cook to 6 whistle (NOTE: you using pan simmer and cook until the bones are tender). Remove the lid when the pressure is gone. Add salt to taste and mix well.
  4. Heat oil, add fennel seeds, cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon stick and cook for 1-2 minute. Add this to the soup and serve
