INGREDIENTS:

  1. Chicken with bones - 100 grams
  2. Finely chopped onion - 1
  3. Finely chopped tomato - 1
  4. Finely chopped ginger - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Finely chopped garlic - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Mint and Coriander leaves - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Cinnamon stick - 1 small piece
  8. Black pepper - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  9. Black pepper powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  10. Pigeon pea - 3 teaspoon (tsp.)
  11. Butter - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  12. Salt - as needed.

PREPARATION:

  1. Melt butter in pressure cooker. Add cinnamon stick, onion and sauté until the onion turns translucent (golden brown).
  2. Now add tomato and sauté until oil separates.
  3. Now add ginger, garlic, black pepper, pigeon pea, coriander leaves, mint leaves and sauté until raw smell gone.
  4. Now add the chicken pieces, salt to taste and sauté until water is sweated from chicken.
  5. Now add water as needed (say 2 - 3 cups) and pressure cook for 4 to 5 whistle.
  6. Once the pressure is gone, serve by adding pepper powder.
