Mangalore rava fish fry recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. King mackerel or pomfret fish - 1/2 kilogram
  2. Rava - as needed to coat the fish.
  3. Chili powder - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Turmeric powder - a pinch
  5. Garlic (small) - 1
  6. LemonĀ  - 1
  7. Coconut (or) sesame oil - as needed
  8. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Crush the garlic well.
  2. In a bowl add garlic, chili powder, turmeric powder, lemon juice, water if needed and mix well and make paste. Apply this paste to the fish pieces until the fish pieces are coated well. Marinate this for 2 hours.
  3. Now coat the fish with rava so its well coated.
  4. Now fry the fish pieces to golden brown both sides or until the fish is cooked in a skillet and serve.
