INGREDIENTS:

  1. Fish (Sardine or Anchovy) - 1/2 kilogram
  2. Chili powder - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  3. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Gram flour - 3 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  5. Dry rosemary herb (optional) - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Lemon juice - from 1/2 lemon
  7. Salt - as needed
  8. Oil - for shallow fry

PREPARATION:

  1. In a bowl add fish, chili powder, turmeric powder, gram flour, dry rosemary, lemon juice, salt as needed. Mix well and marinate this for 1 hour.
  2. In a pan heat oil and fry the fishes until they turn golden brown and serve. NOTE: fry the fishes in batches for good result. i.e. keep the oil heat to 350 degree Fahrenheit.
