Chettinad sura puttu recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Shark (sura) fish - 1/2 kilogram
  2. Finely chopped onion - 250 grams
  3. Curry leaf - 8
  4. Finely chopped Garlic - 100 grams
  5. Finely chopped green chili - 4
  6. Coriander leaf - from 1/2 bunch
  7. Oil - 1/4 cup
  8. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Cook the shark and  remove the skin and bones. i.e. should not have any water left.
  2. In a pan heat oil. Now add chopped onion, curry leaves and sauté until the onion turns translucent (golden brown).
  3. Now add chopped garlic, green chili and sauté until the raw smell is gone.
  4. Now add the cooked shark, salt as needed and sauté until they loose all moisture and turn golden brown. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Add oil if needed.
