INGREDIENTS:

  1. Egg - 4
  2. Finely chopped onion - 2
  3. Finely chopped green chili - 2
  4. Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Oil - to cook the omelet.
  6. Salt - to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Break the eggs in a bowl, add onion, green chili, turmeric powder, salt to taste and beat them well.
  2. Heat a flat iron skillet. Coat with oil.
  3. Pour the eggs whole or in batches (1/4 cup) spread them. Wait until one side is cooked. Flip the omelet other side and cook until its cooked and serve.

NOTES:

  1. How to know when to flip an omelet? The eggs should not stick to the bottom of the pan. When you use spatula around the edges of the omelet it should not stick to the skillet.
