INGREDIENTS:

  1. Boiled Egg - 4
  2. Finely chopped onion - 1
  3. Finely chopped tomato - 1
  4. Dry chili - 7
  5. Salt - to taste

PREPARATION:

  1. Cut the boiled eggs into 2 vertical pieces.
  2. Grind salt and dry chili into a thick paste by adding water as needed.
  3. -- For Tempering --
    1. Mustard seed - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
    2. Curry leaf - 1 sprig
    3. Split black gram - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. In a pan heat oil, add mustard seeds, curry leaf, split black gram. Once the mustard seeds stop spattering add onion and sauté until they become translucent.
  5. Now add the tomatoes, ground paste and sauté until the raw smell gone.
  6. Now add the eggs and sauté for couple of minutes and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Be gentle when you sauté if you don't the yolk will fall apart.
