Garlic and pepper chicken fry recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Chicken - 1/2 kilogram
  2. Garlic - 15 cloves
  3. Black pepper - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  4. Onion - 2
  5. Turmeric powder - a pinch
  6. -- For Tempering --
    1. Mustard seed - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
    2. Split bengal gram - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
    3. Curry leaf - 5
    4. Oil - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  7. Salt - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. Slice the onion into fine pieces.
  2. Chop garlic in to small pieces.
  3. Crush  the black pepper to coarse powder.
  4. Boil and cook the chicken by adding turmeric powder, salt to taste. NOTE: avoid adding water as much as possible if you still need water add 1/4 cup of water.
  5. In a pan heat oil. Add mustard seed, curry leaf, split bengal gram; once the mustard seed stop splattering add garlic, onion and cook until onion turns translucent (golden brown).
  6. Now add the black pepper powder sauté for a minute.
  7. Now add the cooked chicken and cook until oil separates and serve.

NOTES:

  1. If your need more spicy add chili powder as needed
