INGREDIENTS:

  1. Ripe mango - 1 or 2
  2. Shredded coconut - 3/4 cup
  3. Sugar or Jaggery - as needed
  4. Cardamom powder (optional) - a pinch
  5. Salt - as needed.

PREPARATION:

  1. Remove the skins for the mango and cut them into small cubes. Add water as needed and get thick coconut milk.
  2. In mixer or blender add 1/2 mango pieces, 1/4 coconut milk, sugar, cardamom powder and make puree. Transfer this to a bowl
  3. Now add rest of mango cubes, coconut milk. Mix them well and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Goes well with neer dosai.
