INGREDIENTS:

  1. Maida flour - 1 cup
  2. Rava - 1 cup
  3. Sugar - 1 cup
  4. Banana - 2
  5. Crushed cardamom - 4
  6. Chopped coconut - as needed
  7. Ghee or Oil - for frying

PREPARATION:

  1. In a bowl add maida flour, rava, sugar, chopped banana, little water. Mix well and keep it aside for 2 hours.
  2. Now grind this to a batter in a mixer by adding water as needed to idli batter consistency.
  3. Now add the coconut pieces, cardamom to the batter and mix well.
  4. Heat the kuzhi paniyaram pan with oil  or ghee in the kuzhi. Pour the batter into the kuzhi. When cooked (turn golden brown) flip over and cook the other side and serve.

NOTES:

  1. With this batter you can cook paniyaram in kadai by heating oil and dropping batter with a ladle. fry this to golden brown and serve.
