Ras malai recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. -- For soaking liquid --
    1. Whole Milk - 1 liter
    2. Crushed Cardamom - 2
    3. Saffron - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
    4. Pistachio - 5
    5. Cashew - 5
    6. Almond - 5
    7. Sugar - 150 grams
  2. -- For Soaking Solid --
    1. Milk powder - 200 grams
    2. Egg - 1
    3. Baking powder - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
    4. Melted ghee - 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)

PREPARATION:

  1. Boil milk with cardamom, sugar until it becomes really think. Now reduce heat and simmer.
  2. Make dough out of milk powder, egg, baking powder, melted ghee. Add boiled whole milk if needed.
  3. Make small 1/2 inch balls with the dough. Drop them in the simmering milk let it cook for 2 min.
  4. Now remove the milk from the heat and let it down to cool and serve.
