INGREDIENTS:

  1. Thick whole milk - 1 cup
  2. Flattened rice - 50 grams
  3. Sugar - 2 teaspoon (tsp.) or as needed
  4. Cashew - few
  5. Raisin - few
  6. Cardamom powder - a pinch
  7. Ghee - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)

PREPARATION:

  1. Soak flattened rice in water for few minutes until they are soaked. Now strain all the water and keep it aside.
  2. In a bowl add flattened rice, milk, sugar, cardamom powder and bring to boil.
  3. Now in a separate pan melt some ghee and roast the cashew, raisins and add to the boiling payasam then remove from heat and serve.

NOTES:

  1. easy to prepare and serve.
