INGREDIENTS:

  1. Oats - 1 cup
  2. Jaggery - 1/2 cup
  3. Sugar - 1/2 cup
  4. Ghee - 1/2 cup
  5. Cardamon - 2
  6. Cashews - as needed (10 count)
  7. Raisins - as needed (10 count)

PREPARATION:

  1. Crush the cardamom to small pieces.
  2. In a pan melt 2 table spoon of butter, fry the cashews, raisins until the raisin plumps and the cashew get golden brown. Remove and keep them aside.
  3. In the same pan add the oats and fry them until they are turning brown color and keep it aside to cool down.
  4. In a blender (mixi) grind the oats coarsely . Now add the jaggery to the ground oats and grind for 1 min and keep it aside.
  5. Now mix all the ingredients except Ghee
  6. Now melt the ghee and add to oats mixture. Mix well and make them into round balls (laddu) when the mixture is warm.

NOTES:

  1. Grind to oats to coarse for better result.
  2. Its easy make laddu when the mixture is warm.
