Ghee balls (neiyi urundai) recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Green GramĀ  flour - 2 cups
  2. Ghee - 1 cup or as needed
  3. Cardamom powder - 1/3 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Sugar - 2 cups
  5. Cashews - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Raisins - 2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Almonds - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)

PREPARATION:

  1. Roast the green gram flour until the color changes.
  2. Powder the sugar in blender (mixer).
  3. Mix green gram flour, cardamom powder, sugar powder, cashews, raisins and almonds and mix well.
  4. Melt the ghee and add little by little until you are able to make balls with the mixture.
  5. Make equal size balls and serve.
