INGREDIENTS:

  1. Ragi flour - 400 grams
  2. Shredded jaggery (or) Palm jaggery (or) brown sugar - 100 grams
  3. Shredded coconut - 1 cup
  4. Salt - as needed
  5. Banana leaves (cut) - 20 or 25

PREPARATION:

  1. In a bowl add ragi flour, jaggery, coconut, salt and make a soft dough like we do for chapatti.
  2. Now make ball size of big lemon out of the dough.
  3. On a banana leaf place a ball and flatten it to think round sheet. Then fold it half and press the dough. Continue the same process for the remaining balls.
  4. Steam these for about 15 - 20 minutes or until cooked and serve.
