INGREDIENTS:

  1. Papaya pulp slices - 1 cup
  2. Rava - 1 cup
  3. Sugar - 1 cup
  4. Milk - 1/4 cup
  5. Cashew nuts - as needed
  6. Cardamom - 2
  7. Saffron - a pinch.
  8. Ghee - as needed

PREPARATION:

  1. In a mixer or blender add papaya slices, milk and make a thick shake (paste).
  2. Roast the cashew nuts in ghee and keep it aside.
  3. Dry roast the rava in pan to remove moisture.
  4. In a pan bring to boil 2 cup of water with saffron.
  5. Now add rava little by little and stir NOTE: make sure no lumps are formed.
  6. Now add crushed cardamom. Cover with lid and cook until the rava is cooked. NOTE: time to time check and stir to avoid burning.
  7. Now add the sugar, papaya shake (paste) and cook until everything cooked and come together.
  8. Now add the roasted cashews. Remove from heat and serve.
