Oats kesari recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Oats - 1 cup
  2. Sugar - 3/4 cup
  3. Ghee - 1/2 cup
  4. Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  5. Boiled milk - 1 cup
  6. Kesari powder (Or) Saffron - a pinch
  7. Nuts (cashew, almond...) - little

PREPARATION:

  1. In a pan, dry oats until oats release aroma.
  2. Now add milk and cook the oats.
  3. Now add Kesari powder (Or) Saffron, cardamom powder and mix well.
  4. Now add ghee and mix well until its melted.
  5. Finally add the sugar and mix well.
  6. Stir and cook this until the Kesari does not stick to the pan and keep it aside.
  7. Roast the nuts in ghee and add to kesari mix well and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Kesari texture will be sticky but it tastes awesome.
