Nendran banana halwa recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Nendran banana - 2
  2. Sugar - 1/2 cup
  3. Ghee - 1/4 cup
  4. Cardamom powder - a pinch

PREPARATION:

  1. Cut banana into a big pieces and steam cook them. Cool the cooked banana to room temperature. Now in a blender grind them to smooth puree.
  2. In a non stick pan heat the banana puree and cook for 5 minutes without placing your hands.
  3. Now add sugar, cardamom powder and continue cooking by stirring time to time for couple of minutes.
  4. Now add ghee and cook until they become thick and don't stick to the pan.
  5. Now transfer this to a ghee coated plate and cut them to your shapes and serve.

NOTES:

  1. You can use regular banana as well. Don't steam and cook the banana.
  2. Adjust the ghee and sugar based on your personal preference.
