Coconut milk halva recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Coconut - 1
  2. Milk - 1 3/4 cup
  3. Sugar - 150 grams

PREPARATION:

  1. Shredded the coconut. NOTE: no dark parts should be there.
  2. Add 3/4 cup of water to coconut and grind in a blender (mixer). Strain the milk (juice) and keep it aside.
  3. Add 1 3/4 cup of water to the strained coconut and grind it again in a blender (mixer). Strain the milk (juice) and keep it aside.
  4. In a heavy bottom pan add milk, coconut milk, sugar. Simmer and cook for 35 minutes or to halva consistency and serve.
