INGREDIENTS:

  1. Black gram - 1 tumbler
  2. Raw rice - 1 tumbler
  3. Spit green gram - 1/4 tumbler
  4. Ghee - 150 grams
  5. Palm jaggery or jaggery - 150 grams

PREPARATION:

  1. Dry roast Black gram, Raw rice, Spit green gram each separately.
  2. Grind in mixer all of the to fine flour (powder). Sift the flour (powder) with sieve couple of times.
  3. Melt ghee in a pan. Add slowly the flour (powder) and roast them. Remove from heat and add water as needed and make a thick batter like you do for idly.
  4. In a pan add jaggery, little water and cook them until the jaggery is dissolved. Now filter the jaggery of impurities and heat the filtered liquid in same pan until it become to syrup consistency.
  5. Now add the flour batter to the boiling syrup and mix. Add ghee time to time when you adding the batter as well.
  6. Stir and cook this until the ghee start to separate then serve.
