Bread halwa recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Bread slice - 4
  2. Sugar - 3/4 cup
  3. Ghee - 1/4 cup
  4. Milk - 3 cup
  5. Saffron (optional) - a pinch

PREPARATION:

  1. Trim the edges of the bread slices and roast them in 2 teaspoon (tbsp.) of ghee.
  2. Boil the milk and reduce to 1/3 (1 cup).
  3. Now add the roasted bread slices until the bread observes all the milk.
  4. Now add the sugar and cook until it starts to harden. Now add ghee slowly and cook until it reaches halwa consistency (thick and ghee separated) and serve.
