Banana halwa recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Ripe banana - 2
  2. Maida flour - 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  3. Sugar - 1 cup
  4. Ghee - 3 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  5. Cardamom powder - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  6. Saffron (optional) - a pinch

PREPARATION:

  1. Mash the banana well.
  2. In a pan melt 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) of ghee and fry the maida flour until it start to smell aromatic .
  3. Now add the banana and cook until the banana is coated well.
  4. Now add the sugar and saffron and cook until halwa thicken a bit .
  5. Now add ghee, cardamom powder and cook until it becomes halwa consistency (thick and ghee separated) and serve.
