INGREDIENTS:

  1. Tapioca  - 1 kilogram
  2. Small Coconut - 1
  3. Ghee - 50 grams
  4. Maida flour - 1/4 cup
  5. Sugar - 1 1/2 cup
  6. Salt - 1/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Yellow color powder (optional) - 1 pinch

PREPARATION:

  1. Shred the tapioca with a shredder. Shred the coconut with coconut grater.
  2. Dissolve maida flour in 1/2 cup of water.
  3. Now add the shredded tapioca, coconut and grind to a coarse batter.
  4. Now add sugar, ghee, salt, yellow color powder and continue grinding to a coarse batter.
  5. Now coat a backing pan with ghee. Pour the batter and bake to a cake and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Bake in convection oven at 180°C or regular oven 205°C until done (about 50 minutes in regular oven)
