Super moist vanilla cake recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Maida flour - 1 cup + 1 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  2. Baking powder - 1 + 3/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  3. Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  4. Sugar - 3/4 cup
  5. Unsalted butter - 1/4 cup Or 4 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  6. Vanilla extract - 3/4 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Egg - 1 whole + Egg white from 1 Egg.
  8. Milk - 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoon (tbsp.)

PREPARATION:

  1. Sift Maida flour + baking powder + salt 2 to 3 times show they mix well.
  2. In a bowl add the butter (has to be in room temperature), sugar and beat well. Now add the egg (1 egg + 1 egg white), vanilla extract and beat 2 to 3 minutes. Now add mkil and beat until they become fluffy. NOTE: more fluffy more better. You can use electrical beater to speed up the process.
  3. Now to this add sift Maida flour little by little and fold the dough gentle until they mix well without any lumps.
  4. Grease 8 or 9 inch cake pan with little butter. Now spread 1 tablespoon (tbsp.) of Maida flour evenly. Now pour the cake mixture. NOTE: Tap 2 or 3 times the bottom of the pan on table top so it removes excess air bubbles.
  5. Bake this in pre heated oven to 350 Fahrenheit for 15 to 18 minutes or until the cake is cooked.  NOTE: It is easy to check a cake for doneness by using the toothpick test. Just stick a toothpick into the center of your cake or cupcake. If there is wet batter still on the toothpick, it needs more time in the oven. If it comes out clean, your cake is done!
  6. Once the cake is cooked keep it in oven wire rack until it cools down to room temperature then serve.

NOTES:

  1. Cooking time: 30 minutes
  2. Follow exact measurement for good result.
  3. Make sure unsalted butter is in room temperature.
