Banana bread recipe

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Unsalted butter (room temperature) - 8 tablespoon (tbsp.)
  2. Sugar - 3/4 cup
  3. Egg (room temperature) - 2
  4. Maida flour - 1 cup
  5. Wheat flour - 1 cup
  6. Baking soda - 1 teaspoon (tsp.)
  7. Salt - 1/2 teaspoon (tsp.)
  8. Ripped banana - 3
  9. Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon (tsp.) (optional)
  10. Coarsely chopped walnut or pecan - 1/2 cup (optional)

PREPARATION:

  1. Mash the banana.
  2. Beating butter and sugar until light and fluffy (like foam). Now add and egg and beat well.
  3. Sift maida flour, backing soda, salt to taste with a strainer or a sifter.
  4. Now add the wheat flour to the sift flour.
  5. Now add the flour mix to the beaten egg, mashed banana, vanilla essence, nuts (walnut or pecan) and make a batter.
  6. Heat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
  7. Coat the bread pan with butter. Pour the batter and back for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean.
  8. Remove from oven cool down for 10 and serve the Banana bread.
