INGREDIENTS:

  1. Coconut - 1
  2. Sugar - 1/2 kilogram
  3. Vanilla essence - 4 drop
  4. Butter - tablespoon (tbsp.)

PREPARATION:

  1. Shred the coconut pulp.
  2. Add 1/2 cup of water to sugar and bring to boil in a stove when single string consistency is reached. (refer to image below.
  3. Now add the shredded coconut and cook until bubble form. Now add the butter, vanilla essence and cook for 5 min (when the mixture separates from the pan easily)
  4. Remove to a butter coated pan, and make shapes to your preference and serve.

NOTES:

  1. Check for single string consistency single sting
